From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The following is a complete episode list of the BBC television series Top Gear since its 2002 relaunch. As of December 28, 2008 there have been 103 episodes. The show is currently presented by Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May and The Stig. Secondhand car specialist Jason Dawe was a co-presenter for the first series, but was replaced by May for the second series, as the show stopped prioritising reviews for used cars.
There have also been five special episodes, which are not included in the episode list. These are, in order of transmittance, Stars in Fast Cars, Top Gear Winter Olympics, Top Gear of the Pops, Top Gear: Polar Special and Top Gear Ground Force. The most recent special, Top Gear: Vietnam Special, aired on December 28, 2008 and is considered to be the last episode of series 12.[1]
On the BBC Top Gear website, it has been confirmed that Top Gear will be back on 21 June 2009 for a new series.[2]
